IT Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic IT Engineer to join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, a self-starter, and have a love for learning new things. As part of the MSP Helpdesk, you will be responsible for answering calls, e-mails, and live-chats and liaising directly with customers to resolve their issues. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn new things and progress through the levels of IT Support. From Desktop Support to Cloud Infrastructure, you’ll get experience of a huge range of IT in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.


Competitive, DoE

  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
  • Experience as in an MSP environment
  • Basic Networking Experience
  • AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900
  • ITIL v4
  • Excellent written & spoken English
  • Full UK Driving License & own car
  • Self-motivated, self-starter but works well as part of a team
  • Commercially driven
  • Ambitious, Enthusiastic, and willing to learn
  • Great customer-service skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience of Virtualisation Technologies
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Experience with Windows 7, 10, & 11 Desktop Operating Systems
  • Actioning tickets within agreed SLAs
  • Regular customer infrastructure checks
  • Liaising with customers on a daily basis
  • Occasional customer site visits
  • Escalating to specialist engineers where necessary
  • Liaising with 3rd parties where appropriate
  • Regularly performing backup & DR tests
  • Following Change processes
  • Upholding Electric IT’s high standards for all customers
